LLM Visibility
Read your LLM Visibility Insights
See what keeps happening across your ChatGPT and Gemini checks: competitors and share of voice, keywords each engine names you for, the sources answers cite, how each customer does (Who's asking), and ChatGPT's own searches (query fan-out).
On this page
A single check tells you what ChatGPT and Gemini said today. Insights tells you what keeps happening across all your checks: which rivals the engines keep naming, which keywords you win and never win, which websites their answers come from, how you do with each kind of customer, and the searches ChatGPT runs before it answers. Opening it uses no checks, because it reads the checks you have already run.
Where Insights lives
Open Track > LLM Visibility and choose the Insights tab at the top of the section (/dashboard/llm-insights), then pick a location. You can also press the Insights link beside a location's tabs. Latest check takes you back to the location's most recent results.
Insights is read one location at a time. Use the location picker at the top right to switch.
Choose the period and the engines
Two controls sit above every tab, so every table on the page answers the same question:
- Period: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or All time. Beside it you see how many ChatGPT and Gemini checks fall in that period.
- Engines: Both engines puts ChatGPT and Gemini in side-by-side columns. Pick one engine for its fuller tables, including whether each figure moved between the first and second half of the period.
The two engines are never blended into one number. Each column is one engine's own figure over the same period, so you can see where they agree and where one names you and the other does not.
Note: A check you run on one engine only can't be compared side by side, because the other engine has no answers for it. For a fair comparison, check both engines.
If a period has no checks, try a longer one or Show all time.
Competitors
The businesses named for your prompts in the period, you included, with each engine's share of voice: that business's share of every business the engine named. A rival both engines name in most checks is the one to study. The Rating seen column shows the star rating and review count the engine returned for each one.
On a single engine you also get how often each business was named, whether that moved during the period, and a chart of competitor share over time.
Keywords
Every keyword asked in the period, weakest first, with the share of each engine's responses that named you. The verdict column sums it up:
- Both name you: at least 50% on each engine.
- Only ChatGPT or Only Gemini: one engine names you and the other does not. The gap is usually in the sources that engine reads, not in your business.
- Weak in both or Neither names you: a keyword to work on.
- Not asked of an engine: that engine has no checks for the keyword in the period.
Click a keyword to read its responses word for word.
Sources
The websites each engine cited for your prompts, by how many checks it went back to them in. Lists you shows whether that site lists your business. A site both engines keep reading that doesn't list you is the best place to get listed.
For every site cited across all your locations and answer types, including AI Overviews and AI Mode, use AI Citations.
Who's asking
The same keywords asked as each of your customers, read against the plain ask. A big drop means the engines don't see you as a fit for that customer: recommended when someone just asks, missing once they mention cost or needing someone today.
Below that, Your rating against the businesses it names compares the star rating and review count each engine saw for you with the typical rival it named, because engines lean on these when they choose.
To choose which customers you measure, see Ask as the customers you actually get.
ChatGPT's own searches
Before ChatGPT answers with web search on, it runs searches of its own and builds its answer from what they return. This tab, sometimes called query fan-out, lists the searches it actually ran for your prompts, across every check. These are the searches your pages have to win.
For each search you see:
- which of your prompts it came from, and a New tag if it first appeared on the latest check
- whether it names your area, says "near me", or names another place
- how many checks it was seen in, and its Google search volume where known
Press Keyword to add it to the location's Keywords page as a keyword, or Prompt to put it to ChatGPT as a prompt on your next check.
Only ChatGPT reports its searches. Gemini does not, so there is no Gemini version of this tab.
Where brand results are
Insights covers the prompts your customers ask without naming you. What the engines say once someone asks about you by name is on the location's Brand tab, not here. Brand prompts run monthly when brand evaluation is on for the location.
