Reports

Build client-ready reports

Build a client report from your rankings and Google Business Profile results, then print it or email it on a schedule.

A report turns your tracking data into a clean summary you can hand to a client or your team. Instead of screenshots and spreadsheets, you build one tidy view that shows the progress you have made.

Build a report

  1. Go to Reports in the dashboard and select New report.
  2. Give it a name and description.
  3. Select Add block to add blocks, and use the up and down arrows on each block to put them in order. You can include up to 50.
  4. Set the report's Default date range: the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or the last 12 months. It applies to trend charts; tables and summaries always show the latest data.
  5. Save.

The blocks you can add

Every block except Text / notes reads one location's data:

  • Rank summary: average Web Results Rank, local pack rate and AI Overview rate for one location.
  • Keyword table: every tracked keyword with its current rank and search features.
  • Rank trend chart: Web Results Rank over time for the keywords you choose.
  • Competitor leaderboard: the businesses appearing in the local pack across your keywords.
  • Results vs baseline: calls, direction requests and website clicks from the Google Business Profile, now against before the work started.
  • Text / notes: your own commentary, context, and recommendations.

Tip: Open and close each report with a short text block: a sentence of context at the top and clear next steps at the bottom. It turns raw numbers into a story a client understands.

To get started on the opening text, select Draft the written summary. The agent writes a paragraph from the figures already in the report and adds it as a text block at the top. Read and edit it before you send the report.

Sending a report

Open a report and select Print / Save as PDF to send it as a PDF.

To send it regularly, select Schedule and choose daily, weekly or monthly. The email always goes to you, and you can add client addresses. It carries the report's headline figures and a View full report button, which opens the report in SearchOps (so it needs a login). Your scheduled reports are listed under Schedules > Report emails.

For quick one-off sharing, geo-grid scans and Google Business Profile audits each have a Share Report button, and each location in Google Search Visibility has Share report. Each creates a link your client can open without a login, so you can send a single result without building a full report. See Reading your geo-grid results.

The results report

For a ready-made client deliverable, the results report (Pro and above) compares a location's calls, direction requests and website clicks with a starting point you choose. Open a profile under Google Business Manager > Profiles and select View ROI report, then Print or save as PDF. The same figures can also go into any report as a Results vs baseline block.

Your branding

White-label branding is included on Agency and Enterprise. The account owner sets a logo, brand name, accent colour and an optional report sub-domain (for example yourname.searchops.co) in Settings under Report branding. Your reports then carry that branding instead of ours, on screen, in print and on share links. On Starter and Pro, reports and share links show standard SearchOps branding.

Keep reports current

Pair reports with tracked keywords and scheduled rank checks so the underlying data refreshes on its own. Each time you open, print or email the report, it reflects the latest numbers.

Reports or Explore?

A report is a fixed summary built to send. If instead you want to dig into your own numbers, slice any metric into a pivot or chart, and keep those views on a live board, use Explore and the Board tab under Reports. See Analyse your data with Explore and your board.
