Schedule recurring checks

Automate geo-grid scans, rank checks and AI Engine Visibility checks from one place.

Last reviewed September 20263 min read

Keep your map rankings, Google Search Visibility and AI Engine Visibility data fresh without remembering to click. Schedules is the one place to automate the work that should run on its own, so every report you open reflects where you stand right now.

Where to find it

Schedules is in the sidebar under Workspace, at /dashboard/scheduled. It is the single hub for everything that runs on its own. The top of the page shows your active schedules, the next run and your expected scan credits a month. Below that is a section for each kind of work: Geo-grid scans, Google Search Visibility checks, AI Engine Visibility, Review checks and Report emails, plus any Queued Google posts and the Always on automations that need no schedule.

What you can schedule

The hub manages three kinds of recurring checks side by side:

  • Geo-grid scans map where you rank across a grid of points around each location, so you can watch your local map presence change over time. For the full detail on grid sizes and how scans work, see Schedule recurring scans.
  • Google Search Visibility checks track your web results position, your Local Pack position, and whether Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode cite you. To understand the underlying tool, see Track rankings in Google Search Visibility.
  • AI Engine Visibility asks ChatGPT and Gemini your tracked prompts on a schedule, using your AI visibility checks. A schedule is created when you set up a location's AI Engine Visibility coverage. See Track AI Engine Visibility.

Note: Geo-grid scans draw scan credits on every run. Google Search Visibility checks use your monthly rank checks, and AI Engine Visibility uses your AI visibility checks; neither draws scan credits. See How credits and quotas work.

Create a schedule

From the hub, choose the right section and pick New scan or New check, then set the location, keywords, and how often it should run. As you build a scan schedule, the hub shows an estimate of the scan credits each run will use, plus a rough monthly total across your active schedules, so there are no surprises.

If you want to set up many locations at once, use Bulk schedule at the top of the page to apply the same cadence in one go.

Frequency options

Each schedule runs on a cadence you choose. Every option is available on every paid plan:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Every 2 weeks
  • Monthly

Cadence is what decides the cost. A Google Search Visibility check uses one rank check per keyword per run. A geo-grid scan uses scan credits for its grid size per keyword per run (a 7x7 grid is 49 credits). Either way, a daily schedule uses about seven times what a weekly one does. Both forms show the monthly cost before you save, and the rank check form also shows how many rank checks you have left this month. See Rank checks explained.

You can also add an email address to any schedule so the results land in your inbox after each run.

Manage your schedules

Every schedule appears as a card showing its cadence, next run time, and the result of its last run. From there you can:

  • Pause or resume with the toggle on each card. A paused schedule stops running and stops drawing credits, and it is excluded from your monthly credit estimate.
  • Edit by opening the card to change keywords, cadence, or notifications.
  • Delete with the bin icon on a Google Search Visibility or AI Engine Visibility card, or from inside a scan campaign.

Tip: Pausing rather than deleting keeps the setup ready to switch back on later, handy for seasonal campaigns.

Plan availability

Scheduling is included on every paid plan, Starter included, and every frequency is available on every plan.
